 It is certainly
without a doubt, the most amazing election our Nation has ever seen. Setting aside for now the political
arena; let us look at the deeper aspects of this election and it's potential outcome. The differences could be
staggering on a much more important level than that of simple politics. There is without a doubt a
human factor here to note; but there is also the ever present, though seldom addressed spiritual aspect of this
war for our Nation. Let us consider the Biblical implications of this election for a moment. The Bible
clearly states "every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house
divided against itself will not stand". (Matthew 12:25)
There is a war for America! There is a genuine spiritual
battle for the true freedoms this Nation has so taken for granted. It is written: "we do not wrestle against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places". (Ephesians 6:12)
We have surely brought this Nation to a closer granting of its government's desire for control over matters and peoples without the respect or inclusion of God.
We have slowly stripped this Nation of its spiritual blessings and coverings with every decade that seeks to
remove more and more of this nation's very Creator. Our Founding Fathers never intended government to be used
for or against the people without the accountability to God Himself.
Here is the truth that has brought
this Nation to the place of power and freedom it has achieved. It is written: "The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to
nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of The Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart
to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, And the people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance". (Psalm 33:10-12)
Those who are believers in this Nation, have only one real responsibility. We need to follow the instructions as
laid out so clearly in The Word of God for just such situations. It is written: "if My people who are called by My
name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin and heal their land". (2 Chronicles 7:14)
