Spotlight Truths

This Holy Spirit inspired letter to America, came to my heart after much grief over the current state of
our nation with respect to God our Creator. The sadness our Holy God must feel concerning the nation that
He so richly blessed with the gift of His Word. This is the only nation where The Bible is "freely" sold,
taught, heard, and available to ALL! This is the greatest of all blessings that any nation can receive from
the Living God. We have not only cast His Word aside, but we have all but become a pagan nation before Him.
I hope the words in this poem affect every heart that reads them.

Letter to America:
America,
I taught you of true freedom.
I taught you of true Grace.
We used to walk together.
Then you refused to seek my face.
Your children and their schools were under my constant care.
In 1968, you said you no longer wanted me there.
I sadly said O.K.
I placed My Love before your hearts,
but you kept pushing Me away.
I sadly said O.K.
I gave life so freely,
40 million of mine you've stolen away.
I have shared with you My Glory,
but unto idols you have strayed.
You said within your hearts "We're America,
we have no more need of You".
I sadly said O.K.
Your flag waves so proudly,
yet from it's pledge I have been removed.
The reasoning you've given,
so another won't be offended,
and another God can be approved.
Sadly, this NOT O.K.
There is NO God besides Me,
I AM that I AM!
I have blessed you with My Word,
and given My only Son.
You deny I AM the author,
You deny Jesus is the only One.
You asked Me to step aside,
to follow human intellect.
I sadly said O.K.
Oh America,
The many tears have I shed for you.
You wanted so very little to do with Me,
until September 11, 2001 brought you to your knees.
Suddenly you call My Name,
and cry out for My blessing.
How can you call upon Him in whom you don't believe?
America,
REPENT! RETURN TO ME AND MY WORD.
THEN WILL I HEAR AND RESTORE.
THEN WILL I GLADLY BLESS THEE.
